Todd is absolutely great. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. Once I arrived, he started going over and pointing out and showing me things that he had found during his inspection. There was things that we had noticed when we done the walk-through of the house and whenever he contacted us to ask, if there was anything that we had noticed that we wanted him to look at extra, he looked at everything and he went over it when I was there showed me that there was no moisture in the places that we were concerned. I could not remember everything that he had went over that day but I did remember the major things and was able to relay them onto my husband, but when we got the report, I was able to show him the pictures/videos and go over the report and everything with him. Todd definitely exceeded my expectations. I would most definitely recommend him if you are needing somebody to do an inspection for you. Todd did an amazing job on my first home inspection. Even my realtor said it was the best inspection she had ever seen! He was very thorough. He took photos and videos of everything. Todd recently inspected a house we were considering to purchase in Kingsport TN. Todd did an incredible job of providing us with an extremely detailed report that included testing of all accessible systems and assessing all visual aspects of the construction quality and current condition. The report included annotated photographs and associated analysis and interpretation that revealed some significant problems with the house we were considering. Among these were: (1) a brand-new 2-level deck that had been constructed with missing and incorrect joint fasteners and excessive notching of support braces, (2) several active water leaks in the house, (3) signs of recent water intrusions in the basement, (4) incomplete installation of the dishwasher, and (5) missing shingle coverage of roof vents. There were numerous other issues of moderate concern. His report was comprehensive not only because it provided photo-documentation of significant construction deficiencies or lapses in maintenance, but also specific recommendations on how to proceed with remedial action and restoration of active maintenance, including internet links for additional information about each issue. We're still looking for a house in the area, and we will certainly seek Todd's expertise again when it comes to expert home inspection services!
